PGR Companion: Residency is an Android companion for residents who receive a PGR SIMS account from their institution. The application does not provide public self-registration.
After sign-in, the application communicates with the PGR SIMS production service to provide the institutional information and workflows available to the user's account.

Secure sign-in
Authenticate using credentials issued through your institution's PGR SIMS system.
Onboarding & training
View onboarding, postgraduate training and related account information made available through PGR SIMS.
Supervisor status & documents
Access supervisor-assignment status and submit requested onboarding documents where the workflow is enabled.
Server-backed operation
PGR Companion requires an internet connection and does not provide an offline mode. The app communicates directly with the PGR SIMS production server at android.pgsims.alshifalab.pk using HTTPS.
The application does not use an advertising SDK, analytics SDK or third-party crash-reporting SDK.
Credentials and session protection
Your password is used only when you sign in and is not stored on the device by PGR Companion. After successful authentication, the resulting session token is stored using encrypted Android storage rather than plain text.

Full information about data collection, encrypted communication, document uploads, account deletion requests and support is available in the dedicated privacy policy.
