Amanah Quran respects the privacy of its users. The application is designed as a private, offline, advertisement-free Quran reader. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you install and use the application.
2. Information we collect
Amanah Quran does not collect, transmit, sell, rent or share personal information. It does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, location, contacts, photos, videos, audio, financial information, device or advertising identifiers, browsing history, account credentials, usage analytics, crash analytics, or diagnostic information through third-party services.
No user account or registration is required.
3. Information stored locally
The application may store limited information locally on your device to provide reading features, including bookmarked ayahs or pages, last-read position, selected Quran script, theme, Arabic font-size preference, Elder Mode preference and other settings.
This information remains on your device and is not uploaded to Vexel servers or shared with third parties. Removing the application or clearing its data may permanently delete this locally stored information.
4. Offline operation
The core features are designed to work offline. Quran content, bookmarks, local search, settings and Trust Center information are stored within the application or locally on the device. An internet connection is not required for normal Quran reading.
5. Advertising
Amanah Quran does not contain advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs, personalized advertising, advertising identifiers, advertising cookies or cross-application tracking.
6. Analytics and tracking
Amanah Quran does not use analytics or user-tracking services. We do not monitor individual reading activity, searches, bookmarks or application usage.
7. Crash reporting
Amanah Quran does not use a third-party crash-reporting service. Development and testing builds may generate local technical logs for troubleshooting. These remain on the device or in the development environment unless a user voluntarily shares them with the developer.
8. Cloud storage and synchronization
Amanah Quran does not provide cloud backup, cloud synchronization or account-based storage. Bookmarks, preferences and last-read information are not synchronized between devices.
9. Permissions
The application is designed to avoid unnecessary permissions and does not require access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone calls, SMS, calendar, external storage or the advertising ID. Any permission included in a particular version is limited to what is technically required for that version to operate.
10. Quran search
Searches inside Amanah Quran are processed locally. Search terms are not sent to Vexel, an external server, an analytics provider or an advertising company. Search-normalized text is stored separately from verified display text and is used only for local search.
11. External links
The Trust Center or other information screens may contain links to Quran-content sources, licence information or project information. Opening a link may launch your browser. External websites are governed by their own privacy policies, and Vexel Consultants is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
12. Third-party services
Amanah Quran does not integrate third-party services for advertising, analytics, authentication, cloud storage, social networking, payment processing, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Standard Android or Google Play platform components may be used for distribution, installation, updates and device-level operation, subject to the relevant provider's policies.
13. Data sharing
Amanah Quran does not share user data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, marketing companies, social networks or other application developers. Because the app does not collect or retain personal user information, the developer ordinarily has no personal application data to disclose.
14. Retention and deletion
Vexel Consultants does not retain personal Amanah Quran data on external servers. Locally stored information can generally be removed by clearing the app's storage/data in Android settings or by uninstalling the app. These actions may permanently remove bookmarks, last-read information and preferences.
15. Data security
The application follows a privacy-by-design approach by avoiding user accounts, external data transmission, analytics, advertising SDKs and unnecessary permissions, while keeping Quran reading functionality offline. No digital system can guarantee absolute security, but minimizing collection and transmission reduces privacy and security risk.
16. Children's privacy
Amanah Quran is not designed primarily for children. It provides general religious reading content for a broad audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of mobile devices where appropriate.
17. Purchases and subscriptions
Amanah Quran does not offer paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, donations through the application, paid content or premium accounts.
18. International users
Amanah Quran may be used in different countries. Regardless of location, the application is designed not to collect or transmit personal information.
19. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the app's features, legal obligations or privacy practices change. A revised policy will show a new effective date. Amanah Quran will not introduce data collection, advertising, analytics, accounts or cloud synchronization without updating this policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures.
